We Welcome ALL Children!
We treasure children and their families, and have a variety of ministries to nurture their spiritual development. Several links below will take you to other pages on this site.
If you have questions or would like a tour prior to your first Sunday with us, please contact Ryan Elms, our Director of Children’s Ministries.
Child Care
Sundays 9:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
Child care is provided for children 2 and under during all worship and Sunday school hours. We invite you to bring your child to the nursery area at the South end of Fellowship Hall where you and your child will be warmly greeted by our child care coordinators. Our “Fresh From Heaven” room is for infants. Our “Waddlers and Toddlers” room is for roughly 12 months old and older. Both rooms are freshly renovated and staffed by folks who LOVE caring for your child as you nurture your soul in Sunday School and worship.
Sunday School
Sundays 9:30 a.m.
We believe that a firm foundation in the Christian faith is essential for children of all ages. We use a church-curriculum called Feasting on the Word that allows Elementary School children through adults to study the same Scripture each Sunday in an age-appropriate way. Pre-K uses a curriculum called Grow! Proclaim! Serve!
Your child is welcome to join Sunday School from their very first Sunday here. We have classes for Pre-K-2, and 3-5 grades. Contact Jennifer Fleming for more information, or look for her on Sunday morning for help getting to the right room!
JAM (Jesus and Me)
Wednesdays 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. during the School Year
This is our mid-week children’s ministry focused especially on Children’s Choir.
The JAM meets each Wednesday during the school year from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 pm. All children ages 3 through 5th grade are encouraged to attend. Each week’s program begins with a gathering activity in Fellowship Hall, followed by singing in the sanctuary, and ending with a light meal. The JAM then shares its music in worship several times throughout the year: Children’s Sabbath in October; an annual Christmas Pageant; Palm Sunday; and Mother’s Day. Contact our Director of the JAM, Ryan Elms, for more details.
