Serve the Community

Learn and grow by serving outside the church! There are volunteer opportunities here in our own communities and with our neighbors around the globe.

1 + 1 Ministry – willing to spend one hour with one child per week, mentoring through the school system. Currently there is a shortage of mentors. Information is available in church office.

Foreign Missions – for example, going to Honduras to build a home or India to assist with an orphanage. Pack meals for starving children in third world countries. Work to send support for orphanage in Kenya.

Local Missions – for example, helping with a project in Henrietta, working a day or two at a Habitat for Humanity site in Wichita Falls, or assisting with a charity event.

Mission Outreach Food Ministry:

• Thursday Pickup, 8:00 a.m. (you have a truck and are willing to go to the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank to pick up food)
• Friday Mornings – help distribute

Mission Trip – a trip away from home to assist those in need, for example hurricane relief on the Gulf Coast.

Thanksgiving Meals On Wheels – help deliver or provide dessert for this annual ministry.
